Purpose of the Committee
The SEC advises the Chief Executive on requirements and strategies to promote, support and optimise education in HNE Health to meet organisational goals. The committee determines educational strategy, promotes a culture of learning and enquiry and leads the development of educational frameworks and curricula to meet organisational objectives.
The committee has been convening bi-monthly, since late 2012 and is focused on the quality, standardisation and optimisation of education systems, protocols and programs within HNE Health. Please refer to the attached Terms of Reference to familiarise yourself with the committee’s broad goals and the current membership
The committee is chaired by Professor Trish Davidson. Committee membership includes Education and General Manager representation from professional groups (Medical, Allied Health, Nursing and Midwifery), Workforce, Clinical Governance, Clinical Networks and Streams, Greater Metropolitan Health Service and Rural and Regional Health Service.
